Quentin Tarantino on making movies

A film I think has exceptional writing is Pulp Fiction. It is written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Roger Avery helped out with the screenplay as well. Quentin has also been a part of Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol. 1+2, Death Proof, Inglorious Bastards, and most recently Django Unchained. He also but but did not direct True Romance, and has a story credit for Natural born Killers. All his films share long scenes of just dialogue, but never get boring because of how well written the dialogue is. I have seen all of his films and can say that I love all of them aside from Death Proof, and Jackie Brown.

  1. I think the way he builds up tension in some of those really long, dialogue-filled scenes can be awesome. Next time you watch one of Quentin Tarantino's film's pay attention to some of the camera techniques he uses during these scenes.
